What is the Bio-Circle?

The Bio-Circle Maxi and COMPACT parts cleaning systems are new additions to the Bio-Circle family. The Maxi and COMPACT have been designed for industrial use and on-site bio-remediation of oil and grease. They’re safe, efficient, and eliminate hazardous chemical waste. By combining a powerful blend of surfactants with specialized microbes cultured for remediating properties, the Bio-Circle system cleans aggressively and breaks down oil, grease, and other hydrocarbon contaminants into H20 and C02.

The Bio-Circle is one of many emerging technologies that aligns itself with the belief economic prosperity and environmental protection must go hand-in-hand. It's a win/win situation for companies and society as a whole.

Companies that have discovered the Bio-Circle love it. “Hands down the best way to go. It's not a solvent, it's biodegradable, it's gentle on your hands, gentle on the equipment, and it actually eats carbon” says the president of V-Force Customs, a motorcycle fabrication shop featured on the Discovery Channel. Mothers, known for their polishes, waxes, and cleaners, says “It's become part of our toolbox, now. Everything in our shop is going through this when it comes to cleaning. We want to remove solvents from our daily lives and keep the environment safe.” Watch what Jay Leno has to say about the Bio-Circle system by clicking on the video in the right-hand column.

What is Bio-remediation?

Bio-remediation refers to any process that utilizes biological components to restore an environment to its natural state. Drawing upon this idea, the Bio-Circle can “digest” oil and grease through the remediating ability of cultured microbes that inhabit the cleaning solution. It is an elegant solution to stopping waste. As contaminants are flushed into the system, the microbes produce enzymes to break down the hydrocarbons found in oil and grease. Quickly, long chains of hydrocarbons are chopped into smaller segments readily digestible by the microbes. By the end of the process, oil and grease is reduced to primary natural constituents, H20 and C02. The colony of microbes sustain themselves on your waste. Why recycle waste when you can prevent it?

How Safe is it?

The Bio-Circle L cleaning solution is safe for users and the environment. With a NFPA diamond that is 0 - 0 - 0, the system presents no fire, health, or reactivity danger. Visit the following link to download the MSDS information.

Solvent-free - The Bio-Circle contains no solvents and zero Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Petroleum-based solvents used in industrial cleaning contain varying degrees of toxic VOCs. Read the following report from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) concerning the dangers presented by VOCs.

Non-Flammable - The cleaning solution utilizes a powerful blend of surfactants that are completely non-flammable. No special fire precautions, safety training, or safety equipment are necessary.

Non-Toxic - The Bio-Circle L cleaning solution is NSF certified safe (#139721).

Bio-Degradable - The cleaning solution is certified by the Environmental Choice Program and other agencies as bio-degradable.

How does it Clean?

The Bio-Circle L cleaning solution utilizes a powerful blend of surfactants to lift contaminants off of surfaces. The surfactants drastically lower surface tension, enabling oil, grease and carbon to easily “slide” off parts. The system enhances the cleaning action by heating the solution to a comfortable 105°F. Not only does the heat increase the cleaning efficiency, operators agree that the pleasant temperature is far more preferable to cold solvents, especially in the winter.

Why is Waste Expensive?

Stricter regulations concerning the acquisition, use, and disposal of hazardous chemicals in the industrial workplace represent new expenses. To bring a 55 gallon drum of acetone solvent into the workplace requires paperwork, insurance, safety equipment, instruction, spill mats, and an environmentally safe method to dispose of the solvent when it is no longer effective. Why spend money creating waste?
